I can login with WinXP via Ethernet, but no go my D-Link router .... and this is not the 1st time their auth system has been practising PPPoE apartheid!

Anyone else's non-Windows PPPoE clients (e.g. Linux or broadband routers etc.) being discriminated against?

BTW on Kyalami JHB.

I had no problems on my Linksys WRT54G. Although I did suffer degraded performance which sometimes caused the connection to fail. But that was a network issue from what I gathered from the website.

WBS seems to go through periods when non-Windoze systems can't connect to certain BS's. The worst I've had was for 3 days that I couldn't connect from FC4 or IPCop, then it was miraculously resolved when I complained on MyADSL and mailed Sasan (and various other entities at WBS) to cancel the service.
