Hey,

Can someone please tell me where I can find the Std Terms and Conditions for an iBurst 24 month contract? The one where you are paying off your modem with your monthly bill. I can't seem to find the contract on their site.

Incidently, they also don't have a PAIA manual advertised on the front page. Hint hint, feel free to report to the HRC.

I've never seen the Terms and Conditions or signed them.
I'm special.

Seriously, I have no idea.

Most of us probably dont have the contracts.. it's a feared thing down here... but it kinda makes sense for iburst as the modems so expenisve. Cant help you either.. off the top of my head atleast, i'll look around, maby.

I signed up during the Pilot period and bought the modem and paid one month usage upfront.
When they started billing people they put me onto a 24 month contract. So in there books I'd paid about 7 months upfront. As a result I didn't get any contract. Just a simple sign up form, Details and signature.

IANAL, but... this might make things illegal as there are no contract between the parties involved, no?

A simple sign-up form with details and signature does not constitute a contract, does it?

Which means that the customer (consumer) does not have any protection at all, should things go pear-shaped.

Debbie2 : like your signature :D
