I am using Iburst in soweto and the reception is very good. I am hardly ever disconnected and ICS is working fine. I also know of an internet cafe that uses 4 Pentium I computers on the connection and all is going great. I would like to believe that Iburst is doing a good job or will this change as the Sowetans get more connected.:p

JET@Work. Can you shed some light on a recent statement by the chair for the SMME forum?

That there's no ADSL in Soweto?

You were right boss... Last Night I wanted to upload recent changes to my website but there was no signal. I have been using it since April This year and its been great.

The only internet Service that dominates soweto is Dial Up and Nothing else. there are very few people using iburst for personal use, probably 90% of all iburst subscribers in soweto are all into internet cafes.

If you check the telkom website on news about an exchange line, they will tell you that the place is not in their future plans.
