iBurst interfering with gmail...

Anyone else here having trouble downloading mail from gmail...

runs fine on small messages, but anything over 300kb just "times out" and blocks up the whole thing... forcing you to download the same messages over and over... taking nice bites out of our cap...

My gmail is working fast even with large files so I guess it must be your location.

In my opinion, gmail is the most *resilient* web service there is.

gmail works for me even if my MTU settings are wrong, and my packets are fragmented, and I can access no other websites other than gmail.

gmail somehow also manages to work even when my proxy server is down - I don't know how they do that, but it works.

Same problem

I am experiencing the same problem.

The specific instance relates to the following
-A large zip file attachment which fails every time when trying to dload from GMAIL
-I've attempted the download from 3 different computers in two different locations/LANs
-the common denominator is that I'm using Firefox as a browser

maybe that's it? I've deleted the message since then so I can't test my theory easily.

I am having zero problems with gmail - but then i let my email client grab my mail from gmail and i don't access it from the browser
