Iburst local and international issues

Okay, during the day I am getting some terrible packet loss, currently, I have no international connectivity (not even google works) but local is uneffected.

I'm getting alot of cut-outs for about a minute, where pages get stuck at "looking up www.xxxx.xx" then things will be fine again, but this affects both local and international. In general my international performance has also ben terrible, especially the latency. In fact my latency for both local and international has gone up by about 20-30% in the last month or so and has stayed that way!

@Ekhaatvensters, my connection has stayed fast except for late lastnight and today with international sites, so I'm not sure why your speeds have dropped over the past month or so.

50.2 KB/sec but very bd latency or whatever.

OK my local speeds are usually higher than that... around 700-900kb. Only at night of course. Well my problem must be due to something being built in the way of my connection or sumthing. I live far away from the tower in plumbstead, but I'm taking my iburst to a friend who lives right by the tower so I'll see how the ping times and speeds are there. But it seems like it's not a network problem at the moment

Im capped and both local and international work as if im uncapped but the moment I open a few pages at once,it slows down a heck load ,sometimes when I disconnect the modem for about 2min and reconnect,my downloading goes back to full uncapped speed but then the throttling kicks in and after 1 download,im dead again..sniff

My friend with a 1gig package has been fully uncapped for the whole month now! Hasn't made the most of it but it is nice not to have to worry.

Lucky bugger,how'd he manage that??? I got a 1gig but I found a way to download at full speed every now and then while capped..but it only works for 1 download at a time
