iBurst Modems - second hand pricing?

I'm looking at purchasing an iBurst modem (cash) and trying out iGo for 2 months. If I don't like it, or it doesn't work or whatever - how much can I sell the modem for?

I *think* one shop which is selling the iBurst desktop unit for R1600 cash - and if I take advantage of this, will I get my money back easily in 2 months? Do people actually BUY these modems? I don't want me stuck with this like my other stuff I can't sell

Not sure, I hav'nt seen many of the Iburst modems for sale. I bought one for R1500, desktop. So you probably not gonna get your money back if you buy it.

Well - not after I read the other post saying you need a 24 month contract I thought I could buy the cheap modem, use it for 2 months, and sell it later. However the modem is still pricy unless i take 24 months.

Its called the free market. Demand (for iBurst) is exceeding supply - strangely enough.
