IBURST RESELLER resorts to spamming

Spam really irritates me, but when it comes from a company like Iburst then I get really irate. I received this email a few minutes ago:

Dear User

Please check this attachment
Iburst is the biggest craze since the internet it's self
It's fast it's wireless & it's here to stay.

If you are situated in JHB you qualify for free delivery & installation.

Call us on 011-xxx xxxx [OFFICE HOURS]
RICHARD 083-xxx xxxx
BRETT 083-xxx xxxx
Or just reply to this e-mail & we will call you back.

No unscubcribe option nothing!!!!!!!!!! While I presume that this is not an 'official' Iburst email, it is people selling Iburst.

How does one report them?

You could report them to iBurst, they are obviously not iBurst themselves but a reseller. A pretty stupid reseller from the looks of it..

If you knew it wasnt iBurst then why the title? If an ADSL ISP spammed you then you wouldn't call it Telkom would you?

The funny thing is you actually qualify for free delivery and installation anywhere in the country, they are just underselling the product to get people to buy from them.

According to the information act (or whatever it is called), "spam" mail must have an unsubscribe option. Phone them, and tell them you want to know where they got your details, and you will report them if they EVER send you spam again. I normally do it, and it works like a charm.

Thanks noswal, I reported them them to abuse@telkomsa.net and have already had a personalised reply from Telkom asking for further information (email headers etc).

Also reported them to IBURST.

No friendly request from me sorry. SPAMMERS should not send it in the first place. I went the report route straight away.
