I tried to register a domain at uniforum and they use spamcop, which see all mail from 196.46.70.1 as spam.

196.46.70.1 listed in bl.spamcop.net (127.0.0.2)

If there are no reports of ongoing objectionable email from this system it will be delisted automatically in a short time.
Causes of listing

* System has sent mail to SpamCop spam traps in the past week (spam traps are secret, no reports or evidence are provided by SpamCop)
* SpamCop users have reported system as a source of spam less than 10 times in the past week

Additional potential problems
(these factors do not directly result in spamcop listing)

* System administrator has already delisted this system once

Because of the above problems, express-delisting is not available
Listing History
System has been listed for less than 24 hours.
Dispute Listing
If you are the administrator of this system and you are sure this listing is erroneous, you may request that we review the listing. Because everyone wants to dispute their listing, regardless of merit, we reserve the right to ignore meritless disputes.
Dispute listing of 196.46.70.1

I wonder what a 'spam trap' is?

actually it is AGAIN ...

since it has already been cleared off the spamcop listings in the past ....

Just wish WBS would get this sorted ... amazing how the other ISP's have managed to avoid this problem ... except SENTECH that is ... their's spends more itme listed than de-listed ...

Hello @wbs.co.za,

Someone (probably you or one of your users) has asked that SpamCop delist
your server (196.46.70.1) from the SpamCop blocking list. If you did
not request this email, you may check the extended headers of it for
information on who did.

Please be aware that this is a one-time offer. If you delist your server
and it continues to be the target of spam reports, it will be re-listed and
you will not be allowed to delist it again.

Please take the time to understand the reason for the spam reports against
this system and ensure that they will not continue after SpamCop delists
this system.

If you are sure that the issue is resolved, click the link below to delist
your system:

@Rich, please tell me that you got that from WBS or your work for them? They should be responsible for the removal of their servers from spam lists. You removing it yourself undermines the whole SBL concept and possibly drags it to a point where it can't be delisted any more.
Let WBS handle it and nail the crap out of their users and do thing properly.

Yebo, I own those e-mail accounts, not going to say which one but, going to store all of those abuse e-mails.

Maybe give it to the media or something to say iBURST are useless company if they can't own those e-mail accounts.

That's why WBS = Useless I've been trying to tell them for about 4 months to sort it once e-mail accounts came out and guess what I'm still waiting they said they would fix it but I guess they can't......

They can't take those e-mail addys away from you either since they belong to you. I'm sure it would be brech of contract if they took them away.....

I'll give it to them Bribe them for it or they can pay me to use it :p

Just playing around with the statement

They do not belong to you. In a legal sense you are renting the @wbs.co.za addresses not buying them, so depending on the contract they may well be within their rights to take away a specific address and supply you with another one. But since I don't have a contract I can't say anything specific. Maybe post the relevant part of the contract that would make it breach?

If you come up with a half assed solution to a problem, it normally doesn't work.

THE DESK OF CHAIRMAN
Sub-committee on finace
South African World cup bid 2010
24 Steven Bikko blvrd
Pretoria,south africa.

Dear Friend, you must be aware now that my countryThe Repulic of South Africa
won the bid to host the world cup by 2010, prior to this bid my committee
was mandated to lobby the members of board of Federation International Football
Association (FIFA) on selection of the country to host the world, the bidding
was intensive but at the end we got the hosting right.

My committee was given the sum of $29 million dollars tolobby the members
of the FIFA ruling body to make sure that we win the hosting right considering
the gain that comes with the hosting right like South Africa's economy will
receive a massive direct boost from hosting the 2010 World Cup, financial
impact report for South Africa's World Cup bid committee shows that the 2010
World Cup will pump R21.3-billion into South Africa's economy, and creating
an estimated 159 000 new jobs.

With the help the living legend of our time 85-year-old Nobel Peace Prize
winner Dr.Nelson Mandela who made an emotive case forThe Republic of South
Africa, we got the bid without spending all the money, i and my commitee
members saw this as a God sent opportunity to secure our future and that
of our family therefore,l was mandated by other committee members to look
for a way to move the remaining money to a safe place with the help of a
foreigner who we can trust and is ready to assist us to move the funds considering
the fact that we are still members of the bid commitee and in the eyes of
the public .

we have in our possession the sum $21millon since we spent just $8million
for lobbying. we are ready to give you 20% for all your assistance then me
and my coleague will keep 80% lf you are willing kindly reply to my letter
and further directive bearing in mind that confidentiality is of great essence
so is time in this project i will await your response. Best Regards

Dr. Mark Sitelo
