iBurst through buildings?

Hi

I have been using Vodacom 3G via a 3G cellphone. In some cases it has worked very well outside a building, but in the building there has been little or know 3G reception and it puts one on GPRS.

I am looking to move to iBurst, and wondering what the performance is like from within buildings. Do buildings have an effect on the signal?

Many thanks

My experience is that ordinary walls are transparent.

There are, however, serious problems when there is one or more concrete 'slab', like in a shopping centre floor, between base station and modem. Signal can drop for 100% to 0% in 10 metres.

Get a free test.

After you've turned green I assume?

8321 - how do you arrange a free test? Every supplier/agent I spoke to wanted to charge around R250 for a test. I'm sure my home is in a poor coverage area, being behind a hill. Paying for a test I think will fail seems like a waste to me...

That is a ripoff. Turn on your banner adverts or look at Google sponsored links.
