ICASA Consumer Panel regulations released

Seems to work for me now using firefox and a mac, i did dwnl it first.
The CAP will be quiet a powerful body of people, at least in terms of function. I get nervous with ICASA being the ppl to apoint the panel and think section 9.1 a should be replaced with 9.1 c.
If panel members are going to hold the post for 3 years I think the privacy issues 11(12) and 14(1) should be removed. They are supposed to be representing the public, I want to see that ICASA has not chosen a bunch of lemons to represent usand I want to see and hear them. Meetings should be opn to the public but I can unbderstand that they should not be open debate sessions (maybe after the main meeting).
Looks ok and the renumeration looks like it might not be too bad. Ill take the job
Just an aside but looking at the ICASA Complaints Report from January 2007 - June 2007 from the ICASA site I see no internet related complaints from the public at all....
