It's official then

Icasa is a government puppet.

Add this to the long list of reasons already known (unwilling to tackle telkom, slow to grant licenses etc, etc)

This is terrible news for the public. Way to go ICASA, not!

I read an article the other day that commented on how the government moved to limit the powers of the regulators (in general) after a 2rds majority, cant find it now but it was most interesting.
Our regulators are powerless against government controlled entities.

Why don't the ANC just change their name to the National African Party....then we can also refer to them as the NATS....
