Well done India 7/7 :).

Cook with head in hands, and Hussein with no smug smile = priceless :D.

They were down to 21 off 16 at one stage, and by T20 standards that's a win 9 times out of 10.

@Ros, just rubbing it in for the English for being so smug and throwing the chokers tag around and messing with our guys heads. To be honest, we were pathetic in that game from ball one, we never had a winning position to throw away.

Now, now , no need to be rude - a bit too much of the sauce eh!

Who said they didn't destroy and outplay us in the semi? or that they did not deserve their place in the final? Not me!

They choked - fair and square - what goes around, comes around.

By your standards any team that finishes second in a tournament are chokers?
What bs dude!
Grow up wont you.

We are chokers, wear it proud. We prove it every tournament.

What AirWolf said.

Man, if you can't rub it in on an anonymous forum then where can you.

It's lonely here in choke land - always happy to welcome new members to the club.

Dude, you're drinking too much coffee ( or something)

By your standards any team that wins a tournament just happen to be the best on the day.

Not so - sometimes teams win because the opposition loses from a position where they should have won - that is called choking.

In retrospect, I probably should not have used the word "bull dust" that seems to have raised your ire. I withdraw the word bulldust and instead politely disagree with your view that England did not lose this game from a position of strength at the end.

Now take a chill pill

PS everything said, India absolutely deserved to win this tournament. They were fantastic all the way through and when the sensed the choke coming on they ruthlessly and efficiently capitalized on it.

Morgan got himself out - sharma bowled poorly in that over. Bopara panicked after being cool the whole game. The rest ....well, the Indian spinners were always going to be good for them.

I don't see why they shouldn't call England chokers as well:

"Defeat meant England had still to win a major ODI title having lost three World Cup finals (1979, 1987 and 1992) and the 2004 Champions Trophy final against the West Indies at The Oval when they last staged this event in 2004."

For all those who are saying England aren't chokers because they made it to the final. What about NZ rugby? Everyone was calling them chokers and they made quite a few finals.

Yes.

Btw chokers hardly ever make the final round of competition.

The definition of a choke is to lose from a winning position. Plain and simple. Context means nothing, a choke is a choke and the poms choked.

Sri Lankans also have a chokers tag.

Brutal truth..... everybody remembers the team winning the trophy...

Losing is synonymous to choking somewhat......
