Ice cream sandwich update Galaxy S2

Hey guys,

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S2 with gingerbread and I'm not sure how, or if I can, update it to ice cream sandwich??

Will I lose my data if I update?

There will be an update but it looks like only Q2 next year... At least for the official version.

There are developers working on it as we speak. It will be available in the next few weeks but they won't be the official versions.
