Thuderfoot reviewed these products. They're glorified bread makers and simply use power to dry out your left overs. You're wasting money and using up power by using these. Avoid.

Is the iCompost made by Lomi?

No, but it is the same concept. 110% the same. Apply heat to a bowl, over a period, it extracts the moisture from whatever you put in. Bam, presto - compost semi-dried stuff.

I'm sure they all work the same, don't they? My question pertained to the relevance of "busting" a different brand.

R6.5k. Normal for i~products. Have you seen the price of an iphone? But I did not think Apple will enter this type of maket.

Had a 12m x 3m and 2m deep concrete compost bin for over 30 years. Gardener turns it over regularly. We supply all the neighbours with free compost

Last time he dug it out, there were 55 bags and it was still 1/3 full. Its mainly oak tree leaves from 3 enormous trees. Also add food waste

About a year ago we found some rats in there. However, we now have 2 dachshunds and they are very efficient rat catchers as they work together. Any rat does not stand a chance. They grab it and pull it apart in seconds
