Thanks Crash. I actually made good use of this tool a few days ago when trying to do some signal optimisation.

Need healp please. I d/l the new build and when i connect I open the program i get "socket error #10060 connection timed out" I set the area to JHB. I have installed the dotnetfix 1.1.

Any ideas?

i also have gotten the same error even after a complete reinstall of windows xp and with all builds of iConnect.

There was a 'fix' in the main iConnect thread but that doesnt work for me either.

Crash... any ideas for us noobs?

Sounds like you haven't set your Ip Address settings correctly look at the readme for a short version or through the quick start for the full version.

Btw iconnect(crash) doesn't need .net 1.1, but iConnect C#(mine) does. Both applications will give an error if you don't set your Ip correctly though.

The current version of iConnect is a standard WIN32 app as seburn stated.
I have a .net compiled version, I just haven't seem a reason to release it.

You definately need to setup the IP address else iConnect won't work. I am working on a autoconf tool to setup the IP address for the user on the connect connection.
