To make it clear to Sentech that ppl are still getting bad intl speed,we should all take one hour perhaps between 3-4pm today, when all of us during that hour make at least one phonecall to helpdesk and complain ,therefore they will know, and we will know, that we have phoned and complained.......What ya all think?????

Just phoned them up and spoke to one Jarod/Jared. Remained very diplomatic and requested a ticket be logged for the slow speed on intl. bandwidth. I asked him why they overshot their Sep 1 deadline to have everything working and he said that they have everything sorted out but the international hard cap - that it still needs to be done.

A slight bit of contradicting info considering the responses of Sentech helpdesk to other forumites.

lol, yea, got that response, however the agent said that he knows of other orcs that have received complaints, but quote "not as many. we've also contacted people with open speed tickets as to how their speeds look now, and most of them are satisfied that there has been an improvement, however, there are still some that says there is none"

according to them they've been testing on a 512k module the whole day (I have 512k) and have speeds at about 210k international and about 300k local. Now, local seems fine IF i am not downloading internationally, and my international speeds is less than a third of what I used to get (which was full speed!)

so i dont know anymore....

Hell, my gran on a scooter with a memory stick is faster than Sentech's MyWireless!

Maybe they got that 210K on a cached file from their proxy!?!?! Sure, I also got 112/128k on intl, but it was a type of file that someone else wouldve downloaded...

they always call me for my open speed ticket. oh I cant wait for the next call. see how they explain 6KB/sec as fixed.

what a lie. I get above 14KB/sec on local no probs. On international I get (once again) 6KB/sec no matter what. Maybe they were running an uncapped account (I dunno if 512k is a HardCap48 product??) and thus experiencing slow speeds (hah!).. in my book 210/512 = sub 50% and that is not what you pay for. Even during peak times.
