IE9 Download Manager Countdown to 0kb/s

Hi,

I'm in the the Postmasburg area (Crappy EDGE only), since last Saturday the download speed of files I download counts down from about 15kb/s to 0kb/s while the connection speed is at about 50kbps. I let the file download through the night and in the morning when I wake up the file of 83meg stopped at 40meg and shows as completed. If I download a smaller file of about 5meg at the same time, the smaller files download speed increases from 3kb/s to about 7.5kb/s and downloads correctly while the larger still downloads till it stops corrupted.

Any ideas what is causing this?

could be a time out issue due to slow speeds. try to use a third party download manager to see if that helps
