I purchased a secondary sim on one of my existing contracts and for some incompetent reason its rica barred.

I have spoken to 3 call agents since yesterday morning and I get the same incompetent reply.

"We have forwarded your request to the relevant party and it will take 2-24 hours"

We are in the 36th hour now and when I followed up now I got the same lame ass reply..."another 2-24 hours for the reeust to be finalised"

PLease Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really they make it pretty clear that they dont really care about their customers.

Sounds a lot like Vox/@lantic when home users have a problem.
As a business support is A+. As a home user support levels are worse than no support at all.

They have never had an official rep here. There is one person that helps when he can, but he seldom logs in as work keeps him busy...

Suggest you walk into an MTN Store, with both SIM cards, as well as all the relevant documents (just to be safe) in order to RICA the SIM card. They should be able to sort you out.

Oh and MTN support is always shocking. Good luck.

They did have a rep called Data dude something, but he's no longer active. MTN don't even reply on twitter where they are actively posting promotions ****.
