eh, bad engrishu lol- the washing of the dishes is done by the person who has not cooked, the cooker gets dish washing off and other one washes and cleans the kitchen

Get a dishwasher man. I had one sitting unused for 10 years until today, and I can't believe how much of my life I wasted.

We have got a dishwasher, but for two of us in the household it's much quicker to just wash by hand. It takes just as long to pack that thing as washing the stuff by hand.
It wasn't even connected the last ten years.
I re-installed it after revamping the kitchen during November this year just to wash all the glasses that got dirty during the building operations.

If hubby did the cooking we would eat eggs, bacon and toast or braai every other night.

I do the cooking. I'd like to teach him how to cook. He already does the ironing.

Depends on my mood and how much braai wood is in the garage ... (edit: and how much red wine is still in the booze cabinet)

But I use to do most of the cooking (about 6-7 nights a week) until a year ago when I started studying again, no more time between my UNISA and mybroadband).

BTW: 3 yrs ago I bought a dishwasher as the "cook washes" rule also exists. My wife never really used it until this year when she started cooking.
