I used to do all the cooking, I am a qualified basic chef and also did restaurant management and silver service so my culinary skills are not too bad.

In our house I don't do dishes, it's one of my rules so to make life fair I purchased a dish washer. It's name is Debbie and she gets used just about every day;)

Wife tends to cook during the working week (she gets home at 3pm) and then I tend to take over the weekend cooking!

Of course I do the vast majority of the cooking - I'm trying to teach the missus how to load the dishwasher properly but I'm thinking she's intentionally dragging her heals on that one! :)

Due to the hours my wife works I do most of the cooking so that dinners ready by the time she gets home. Weekends are normally more informal and we tend to cook together.

I've only been in one relationship where I didn't cook. Damn, that girl could cook! Italian dad and Hungarian mom. Apart from her, every other time it's been me.

We both do, i personally think its a big turn-off if a man cant cook, or refuses to learn. I know of some men who are 30 and cannot make a meal if someone is coming over.

My better half cooks most of the meals, except if its seafood (I catch, clean, prepare and cook myself) or during hunting season, venison.

I suck at normal foods.

I do the cooking, because I get nervous when someone else cooks and the kitchen looks like a scene from Apocalypse Now :D

Mr Blu is a master at a braai and does a mean potjie.
