Well my mom's friend who grew up Vienna then moved to US and is now retired in Switzerland likes it, very nice area and good system there, just quite expensive, so unless you know you can live on upper end, would not suggest.Sure, never said what happens in SA is normal. The wife was born in Walvis. On our next trip there we’ll stop by the Home Affairs in Swakop to get her birth certificate & then ID and passport.Just spotted an old friend of mine in the store.... we were good mated when he worked here and on enquiring what he was doing here, "Training down at the airport" and to where he now resided after leaving for SA almost a decade ago, he has resided in three towns in SA, tensions got to much and now resides in Swakopmund, Namibia and says this is HOME, he felt the peace of the desert and the people.....
