I am wondering how many power stations do you need to take out to collapse the entire grid?

Can't be many at the moment.

Yep.........suspected this as well all along and it would not surprise me in the least. Industrial as well as economic sabotage.
Hell bent on getting the Whitey out they didn't want there in the first place......causing too many waves.
I don't think the sabotage is to get pale face folks to emigrate (it's definitely a side effect), I believe it's all about getting paid massive amounts of overtime to fix stuff after it has been sabotaged.

Some definitions:
  • Active Sabotage: deliberately did something that resulted in a breakdown.
  • Passive Sabotage: deliberately failed to take preventative maintenance action, thereby resulting in a breakdown.
  • Procurement and Supplier Sabotage: deliberate sabotage that results in money being made from orders placed for parts/services to fix breakdowns.

Timing and severity just seems to high to be coincidence - sudden losses leading to LS in the middle of a media briefing?
When it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, no one should be saying its not a duck.

Anyway - let us see what the forensic investigation uncovers before we say "quack" for sure.
That toilet duck has been toitoing around in front of everyone for more than a decade, hopefully the duck gets roasted (I'm not counting on that though).

In other news Jessie Duarte also suspects sabotage, great minds and all that.
Such a bright spark that one, oh wait no there was no spark due to brain cell shedding before birth.

why doesnt Malema ever comment on eskom or loadshedding....would really like his thoughts?
Probably mostly EFFoff putty members sabotaging (and Juju endorses their claim to overtime for fixing stuff they deliberately sabotage)?

Cadres running for the hills!

According to Mametja, a special security company has been procured along with drones and canines to guard coal and ash conveyers.
What about Scorpions, WTF are there no Scorpions?

I wouldnt even question that people are sabotaging eskom. I mean right now all over the country their are people sabotaging our country as a whole, eskom just being another place. After the looting and shooting, there's still been allot of accidents happening.

Just part of the inevitable decay from which we cannot recover.

I won't be surprised. How many cadres/BEE unlimited money supply has been cut? They would want him out and get back to the supply.

And the cops are useless to do anything. Look at earlier the year... still trying to "find" the cause lol.

I think incompetence is still not likely to produce this many outages on systems designed and built to run for decades. Especially losing multiple generating units in various areas at the same time.

There is a common denominator in all of the failings over the last 26 years. Fake degrees, 30% Passmark - if they can't reach the bar lower it HAHAHAHAHA
useless Ness abounds and has proven itself over 26 years... well it was known before they took over that it would never work... and it hasn't, NOT EVEN for them.

Family of mine is going on pension working for a government department , he got a doctors degree, and he said, the big bosses at that place, they got jobs, but they got no clue how to run it. I wonder if at Eskom it is not perhaps the same.
