I'm not saying it's sabotage... but it's sabotage

Timing and severity just seems to high to be coincidence - sudden losses leading to LS in the middle of a media briefing?
When it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, no one should be saying its not a duck.

Anyway - let us see what the forensic investigation uncovers before we say "quack" for sure.

Well - seems it is a duck after all.

Find those responsible for this and just put them out of their misery...

Plus the plug dropped at Matimba causing 3 units to trip what the frak. No wonder we're in so much trouble.
Also this would've caused stage 6 if they didn't have coal stored. But honestly not sure why they didn't have more coal stored.

I think with this station, there are backup systems and redunant power and all that, but the way this sabotage was performed it took that out as well. It was very carefully planned.

But in all honesty, at this point, court cases and that whole winding process are just not enough to stop this crap... The punishment needs to be swift and harsh.

They took out the redudant supplies, I was listening to the briefing, they were lucky to find a third method to actually keep the coal flowing and getting power back to the conveyor belts. Remember they said they had power issues to the conveyor belt, now we know why.

How difficult is it to catch and fire the saboteurs. It's not like anyone can just walk into a place a flip a few switches. There's work orders and a paper trail for everything.

True, that's if they follow proper procedure and not cowboying it which is most likely if you look at the state of our powerplants.

Plot twist, the whole power station staff is in on this.

Didn't you say it eas his Management whi were sabotaging him? Tag me when.you have proof of that, you are rea boring me now.
No I did not say that. So I do not have to prove that. You threw a hissy fit and attacked me furiously when I mentioned sabotage.

Now the pretzeling and back tracking and moving of goal posts will commence on your side.

SOP for you.

MightyQuin, I have no time for your nonsense, you are the one who told tales, next time you tag me make sure you have proof or you'll be sorry.

Middle management sabotaging efforts more and more....equipment that hasn't been maintained for years and years getting worse by the day.

Blame De Ruyter......it is HIS fault now that ESKOM is a disaster. He inherited a cancer patient already on it's deathbed.

I agree that it's not his fault but where's the proof of the middle management sabotage, you can't protect him from unfair criticism while throwing around your own wild accusations.

Family of mine is going on pension working for a government department , he got a doctors degree, and he said, the big bosses at that place, they got jobs, but they got no clue how to run it. I wonder if at Eskom it is not perhaps the same.
Incompetence is just one factor, and yes it is definitely a factor throughout SA that has slowly destroyed the country.

I say slowly but the pace is accelerating as intelligent and qualified people emigrate, this results in higher concentrations of incompetent people turning every company they infest into a long drop because competent people are no longer around to offset the incompetence.

In the case of Eskom, the incompetents realised that there is a ton of money to be made by destroying everything because the crazy competent people keep wanting to fix things that the incompetent people have deliberately broken. So it's overtime pay, it's tenders for replacement parts and services, and that's just the obvious stuff.

Find those responsible for this and just put them out of their misery...
Coal replacements.

First those responsible need to be identified and secondly arrested, none of that has been happening because of the naive belief that no one would ever dare to sabotage power stations.

Assume the worst and take preventative measures that catch the culprits before they can do damage, that penny is only now starting to drop.

Plot twist, the whole power station staff is in on this.
That should be the default assumption, no one can be trusted until proven trustworthy (and even then keep an eye on them).

Drunk posting?
