There was a break in a Fibre cable this morning between Durban and Scottburgh - whole lower South coast was dead in the water..
Im in a Support centre.. so you can imagine the chaos when the phones returned ops-normal..

It's a "business" company that jumped into uncapped just after Digichilli collapsed. Their name was "Imagine ISP", which was quite a rip-off of the name "Imaginet" ISP.

Either way they had some dodgy business practices.... selling IS accounts with two logins, but you'd be limited to half the speed because they sold the same account twice.

I checked their prices again the other day and it hadn't dropped, so I assumed they were pretty much in the dumpster.


Oh... they just fell into a cable break hole.

I doubt it is related to a fibre break. We have lost our peering with them at JINX. Must be a major hardware issue.
