Anyone done this or know someone that has ?

I have a few Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet certs but I see a lot of requirements are to have a Bachelors degree.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Depends on your experience and where you want to go. For example both New Zealand and Australia to some degree accept the substitution of experience for a qualification. For a degree you subtract 5 years from your experience. New Zealand is a lot easier than Australia though you will need a job offer in order to get a work visa.

My sister got into Auz with just a Graphic Design Cert behind her name, interview was over the phone, they phoned her back the next day to say they will relocate her to Auz within 2 months, all costs on them. That was 2 years ago. Try your luck, you never know

She did not come close to that point system they have....

Most companies don't even reply to you when sending out CV's overseas without have the right passport.

It seems Ireland are starting to become desperate, as they started replying.

You don't need degree for Ireland as IT is on the critical skills list. Job Offer needs be 30k euro a year, which most jobs offer that anyway.

Work permit cost 1k euro once you have job offer.

I know a few people who have (to the US). It wasn't easy though - they all had 15+ years of provable and related experience which was the primary mechanism for proving equivalence. The certificates may help land a job (which is generally needed to sponsor the visa), but were generally not that relevant for meeting immigration requirements.

The goal is the US. I have been looking into an L1-B visa. Which is basically a inter branch transfer without the requirement of a degree.

These days, without a masters degree or above, an L1 is the best way to get in.
