The comment came off as sarcasm. That little three word sentence does not come off as pro science (I see you dont deny this so you know its true). Had you qualified it in any manner whatsoever you would have eliminated the ambiguity.

Apparently 54% of people in sub-Saharan Africa and 46% in Middle East and Northern Africa aren't even aware of such a thing as global warming. Bit strange for a place that is supposedly the hardest hit.
