In-flight Wi-Fi: good speeds but no porn

So who got the magic ticket to fly around pinging Speedtest.net? :D

Ah, that evil pr0nz again! You're welcome to visit sites like rotten.com, but don't offend your fellow passengers by looking at some titties

I'm going to take a flyer (no pun intended) and assume P2P Networking has also
been blocked. This is Vodascum (G-Connect) we're talking about after all.

How exactly do you see the need to do P2P on a service like this>

Anyone knows which routes this aircraft flies?

As the whole fleet is not kitted out, it will be good to know which one to aim for.

I agree 100% with you, Jannie. That is no place to download the latest episode of Desperate Housewives.

However, this will in effect block Skype as well.

Surely using something like Filter Bypasser would get around their filtering?

They better be careful how they word that "guarantee".
Simple bypass is a VPN. Can't block that if they looking for business customers.

One of the questions raised about in-flight Internet access was of the potential problems related to users accessing pornography websites on flights. Van der Merwe pointed out that there is some website filtering to ensure that pornography and other offensive material is blocked.

...

Other plans include providing destination-based content and more entertainment models.

That's right. Who wants online pornography when you can have models entertaining you? :D
