A couple in an incestuous relationship who murdered their two teenage sons and tried to kill their remaining four children have been jailed for life.
Sarah Barrass, 35, and her partner, Brandon Machin, 39, who is also her half-brother, planned to kill their six children amid fears they would be taken into care. They were both sentenced on Tuesday to life in prison with a minimum term of 35 years.
Tristan and Blake Barrass, aged 13 and 14 respectively, died after being strangled by the pair at a property in the Shiregreen area of Sheffield on 24 May.

Certainly plausible for the younger children to believe it. The older children had probably had this repeated to them many times over the years. So they might now think it doesn't make sense, but wouldn't necessarily have spoken up.

Incestuous relationships generally lead to kids with a few braincells short of anything.
The likelihood of genetic defects being amplified really depends on how closely related the parents are. As only half siblings the probability is way lower than for full siblings.

"They're going to take our kids away, so let's kill them before anyone has the opportunity..."

Explains Adam and Eves kids and the psychotic, barbaric and hate filled mentalities which they still have today.

Same logic when killing one's lover.
Nah, in that case the person who is insecure will treat the lover as someone who wants to leave them, so the murder is regarded as "If I can't have you no one will", which is punishing the lover for making the wrong decision. That line of reasoning doesn't translate into a situation where there's no indication the kids want to leave...

My best guess is that they didn't really care about the kids and figured they could keep the relationship secret if only they destroyed all the evidence...

This is you agreeing right? hahah
Absolutely not.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a single sane person that actually believes an Adam and Eve literally existed and all human life as we know it stems from those two folks.

exactly lol...

It's directed at all the adam and eve believers. This suggests most folk aren't sane at all.
