Ridiculous...
Go live in China then...

Ridiculous only to one who cannot do the math.

Also, no need to move as the ANC is bringing China to Africa.

Enjoy your equality working in one of those factories..

My problem is, every year we get the same reports about pay inequality in the workplace... Really, there is nothing new this article mentions that many articles in the past have mentioned (#RinseAndRepeat). So what if race X gets paid more than races Y and Z? So what if they don't have to put in much effort? What else is new?? Politicians and media houses love these kind of stories because they bring quick-buck, bring in the likes, and cause a stir. 5 years ago people spoke about this topic; today we are speaking about it; 5 years down the line we will most likely still be discussing pay inequality across the spectrum (race, gender, etc.). Don't get me wrong, pay inequality does exist and it is a problem. Sitting and waiting for things to change wont help. Solution is simple; if you believe your current employer is underpaying you and not appreciating you, resign and move to an employer who will give you what you want. Good employers do exist.
I agree with the latter part of your statement. However I cant agree with the fact that this should be "okay'd".....

Facts will remain facts...Deal with it. Also at this rate you'll bust a vein. Relax Mr agro.
Fact is that you are stuck on skin color.
Fact no 2 is that this skin color fixation is not going to get this country anywhere.
People like you need to get to term with these facts.

Has anyone read the full report, they were literally so off course with this thing. They were mentioning woman in the "lower income" brackets also earning less and well that's due to most low skilled employment being in the mining industry. Bit hard for many woman to break into that.

They never compared the informal domestic vs the formal domestic workplace wages either which balance out quite equally. Poor job done by whoever did this.

Scrap all the useless anti business regulation. So that people can actually take care of themselves.
And not make empty promises that people can suck on the government teat forever.
And scrap most capital gains taxes as a start to proper tax reform.

"People like you" hahaha...you never disappoint.

you need to read, comprehend and comment. its not a fixation. Its a concern brought up by one group. Should they shut up and swallow? Surely you wont, I bet you don't have this issue.

individuals living in male headed households had a bigger impact on influencing overall inequality as compared to those living in female headed households,” Maluleke said.

I'd be really interested to know the reason/s

Simple, female headed households generally prefer handouts from males or male substitutes like the state.

What's ironic and perhaps a bit humourous is that you can learn an awful lot by taking your own advice.

It's easier to be wise for others than for ourselves, as the saying goes.
