Incorrect password even though open

Windows 7
Internet connection via iBurst desktop modem.
ICS is on.
Both Private and Public set to no password authentication.
Using SMCWBR14S-3GN router, without a dongle.
Configured as Open. (Will change when I can connect this way.)

Cellphone (Galaxy Chat) sees the router. Shows it as open connection. When I try to connect it comes back "Incorrect Password."
