Increasing problem of blinding car headlights

There is no simple solution but I have noticed that when in the Jetta with its very bright brights, people will turn off their brights when I flash them. When in the wife's Atos, they tend to ignore when you flash them.

These days I see oncoming brights I just turn my brights on and leave them on till I either pass the other driver or till they turn their brights off.

So two drivers blinded is better than one hey? This is crazy. Yes it is annoying but this sort of retaliation does not help.

I hang my head in shame, for I am one of those lit bastards!

I had my bakkie suspension raised, as we do up here around these parts.....

It took me about two weeks of much confusion to figure out why other folk kept flashing at me.

I have angled my lights downwards but they still flash, now I just turn my lights off when I drive in the dark....

Are you busy working on a better solution to communicate, to the other driver that his lights are on high and he needs to dim them? Not that the majority of drivers have an IQ high enough to understand the message.

I agree with your sentiments, but as there is no other means of communcating with the other vechile's driver - well ...

So, that is why I no longer have evening braai's with my children, or other family members, I no longer treat the Missus at a Resturant, nor attend movies at a movie house - arrogant retards, rule on the roads, as there is no intelligence nor reason present.

The unbelievers, who think, do, and reason differently win by default.

At least that way I can see a bit better. it's that or one blind and one brights.
