Honestly, the extra cost over importing one yourself might be worth the tradeoff for local warranty support. It'll be better than Razer's actual RMA service.

If anything, the XPS13 and 15 are about the same in terms of their ability to fry your skin and thermally throttle. The Zephyrus G14 and G15 are much better in that regard.

Assuming you're talking about pre-2020 models? They changed their cooling a bit in the 2020 model, it's not that hot and I don't think it really throttles.
Personally, I'd pick the G14 because I care more about the performance, but if I was more of an excel user/didn't game/require as much performance, I'd probably go with the XPS 15 due to the 16:10 display.

The Zephyrus definitely is excellent. Wonder what their screens are like though, as Asus loves to cut corners there.

3 year warrany on any machine purchased from them providing you register using your till slip, they'll be completely useless after that though.
