I know its not exactly the same model. Its about 300 more + what you would get if you sell your older equipment privately.
Im sure a lot of gullible people fall for this.

Well you can score but don't know on the current deals. When large monitors came out lower priced, they offered a 27" Samsung LCD for R2100 with a trade in of R800 off the price of R2900. Any monitor..... so I took in a old 13"/14" Mono VGA

That was a good deal.

I scored back in 2011 when these deals were about assisting people with disposing their unwanted electronics in an environmentally friendly way. Got a 27 Samsung for R1,500. R1,000 off the normal price because i gave them a broken monitor. Sold it for R2,000 in 2014
