Such is the fragility of the Indian batting lineup that you'd always feel as if you've opened up an end once you've got Kohli. The only downside is that Rahane has one of the better records in SA and it's just a pity he wasn't in earlier when the ball was still newer. Once he's gone, SA will feel well and truly on top as the last few wickets could tumble.

Can we enforce the follow-on for the first innings? :D

Don't know if you guys were joking or not but India have done really well to not be 5-6 down already...100/3 with the bowling conditions what they were this morning is near-miraculous. We helped out with not taking chances and maybe trying a bit too too hard on a pitch where line and length would have delivered wickets.

They've done a lot better than in the first 2 tests anyway (up till now)...a collapse could be around the corner for all I know :whistling:

Philander to Rahane, 1 no ball, edged and gone! Philander strikes. Rahane fails. The umpire wants to check for the no-ball. Philander has overstepped? It seems like it. And called. Marginal call, can't see those being called by the umpire because there was a centimetre in it.

Frankly, this just irks me to the point of spewing all manner of profanities. The frigging ump can't call it real time, then why the hell call a friend? It's like they're too scared to make a call on their own. It's happening in run outs too. So many of them are out by a country-mile and he needs to go to a mate up yonder for assistance. meh!

Morkel to Pujara, no run, nice line, close to off, 138 kph, out comes the solid defensive block of Pujara. He is now 22 runs off 22 overs.

Protea's showing poor form today though. Really haven't taken their chances and they've created so many opportunities for themselves.

So the Vern no ball didn't cost much fortunately. Now lets hope we can run through them. 200 all out.

He's the ultimate stonewall

QFT. At this level you have to capitalise on the chances created. We're fortunate VK didn't hurt us any more than did.
