Entire match done in the time allocated for 1st innings.
Yip. Spare a thought for the people who paid good money to watch the Proteas wilt. This ranks up there with some of the worst defeats in the history of cricket.

/sigh :(

I think QDK should be dropped...fantastic player but he looks so out of sorts.
And today our batting line up...Rabada in at 8 and Morkel at 9?! Both one position too high...surely?
Also, Miller...once again a fantastic player...but I really don't see him as a solid ODI number 5...he is a brilliant T20 smasher...but not an out and out quality ODI batsman...maybe I am wrong. At the end of the day they give it their all, I just think the team selection is a bit...off...and India look far stronger.
ABD back soon though, and good to see some fire from Rabada with the ball despite little outcome- only positives for now for me.

Well that was a proper ass whipping.

Side note, pretty cool seeing the Deputy Chief Justice at the ground to see his son's debut

What a thumping. Been a while since I have seen SA so thoroughly humiliated.

Piss poor performance in first game (with the exception of Faf).

Can they get any worse?

Proteas: Challenge accepted :(.

It was just a woeful performance, nothing like a choke - which is actually much worse. That means we're nowhere close to getting it right, where a choke at least means the ability is there.

Standard Bank Proteas wicket-keeper batsman, Quinton de Kock, has been ruled out of the remainder of the Momentum One-Day International (ODI) series and upcoming T20 International series against India due to a left wrist injury. De Kock sustained the injury during the second ODI against India at SuperSport Park on Sunday, and will require 2-4 weeks to make a recovery.

Enter Heinrich Klaasen I presume? Not a bad thing, at least he is in good form following the domestic 50 over comp.

This being televised? What about radio commentary? Probably neither. Women's cricket still not being taken seriously in SA.

Our boys are dropping like flies! Not good...

Can't really do much worse than Qdk based on current form, but we really need Quinton to play, as that is his only hope of playing himself back into form...
