Unfortunately back to work so don't even have time to do the initial charge so I'll have to do that tonight

Um.. 1990 called and wants their battery tech back. Amazing how people/retail stores/Service providers still insist on this overnight charge crap

I've always been cautious...but worry about it being DOA made me turn it on and I haven't turned it off yet so I guess that initial charge won't be happening XD. Though battery seems to have only been at about 90% when I turned it on.

Oh boy, did you guys ever steer me right. The tablet is AMAZING (well to be fair it's mainly the screen, the rest is all more down to earth, but has still well exceeded expectations lowered by reviews and research). It honestly feels less like I paid 1.4K for it and more like it's a 4.1K tablet. Even the terrible camera that I care nothing for is much less terrible than expected. Everything is better than I was hoping it was going to be. That screen though, that screen, it's at zero brightness and still looks superb. It does seem to suffer from IPS glow quite a lot at high brightness though (though I don't know how much IPS glow the others have)

It's silver, my second choice, and looks incredibly premium, well it would if not for the lack of volume rocker, HDMI out port and a slight gap at the top left where light shines through from something. So I can tell it's not quite premium but it feels every bit so.

The cover doesn't look as bad as I said, it turns out the plastic wrapping must have been put on something that was freshly printed and still wet causing grey smears over everything (hence the dirty look). I think it's meant to be the grey one of the five colour choices and I wish it was less grainy shiny but other than that it's good and since it's free and unexpected I can't really complain too much other than saying I definitely wouldn't have chosen it.

The possibilities are endless! (other than Whatsapp due to the lack of telephony)
I can't thank you guys enough :D
