According to their FAQ that requires closing the current card account, opening a new one and issuing a new card.

"The payment due date is the date when you need to pay your account. The date always reflects on the statement. To change the date you need to call Customer Care on 0860 FASTAP (327827) to make the necessary arrangements. You will then receive a new card and a new account number. The credit card in your possession can still be used until you receive the new card. Once the new card has been collected at the branch, your relevant balances will be transferred to the new card."

Not too much of a problem if the original payment date is inconvienent.

[hI.wEER EXCTLY DO I GO ON MY INTERNET PROFILE TO ADD "BANK YOUR CHANGE" FUNCTION.
I would recommend keeping your gold cheque acc and just add the savings pocket with 'bank your change' if you don't have it. I changed my settings on my Internet banking so I can't see the total of the savings pocket so I save quite alot without feeling the urge to spend it and its a nice backup to have.[/QUOTE]

The answer to this is always Virgin Money CC - No fees, No Costs.

The only time its worth getting a CC from a bank is if the benefits/rewards at least cover the card cost every month.
