Information on cellphone towers

is the a register of cellphone towers in the country, if so where can one get this information from, would the register also include things like, support gprs, edge, 3g, hspda.

All the networks would obviously have info about their own towers but somehow I doubt its publically available. Why do you want/need it?

IMO that's a question for !CASA - unless you're only referring to Vodacom's base-stations.

You could ask individual municipalities.

If you intend asking !CASA, or the [searchforum]Dementia of Communistications[/searchforum], good luck since Poison Ivy recently asked !CASA for a list of all fibre optic submarine cables that land in South Africa, !CASA is still busy compiling this list after several months, and it can only have 3 cables listed: SAT-2, SAT-3, and SAFE...:rolleyes:

Don't think so, why do you need it?

If you want to see coverage for 2G/3G, best place is on www.vodacom.co.za.
