Can anyone confirm their service?

Their presales is actually terrible and I hope their post sales is better.

Mails ignored ... No feedback ... No communication ... Don't stick to their install dates.

I've requested a package through them but I'm thinking of cancelling before I'm actually live, whenever that is

My complex use them, i've been with them for about 4 months now. Honestly I've had no issues. I was skeptical like you at first because I've never heard of them before but they did an outstanding job laying the fibre in our complex and sorting out all initial issues listed. Since then its been smooth sailing. we had a 3 month contract with them and i thought i would switch as soon as that's up but i have not thought about switching once because of no issues experienced. Also no complains in my complex that i am aware of.
25MB up and down, no shaping etc. 4k streaming etc i use them all. Very happy.

I'm in the same area as you...

Thanks Dean

It's the ignoring and total lack of feedback that made me question them. I even mailed my body corporate to ask if she knew anything about the fibre and she forwarded the mail to them (cc myself) ... They didn't reply to that either.

Pure radio silence while I sit and watch everyone else get fibre installed.

For what it's worth, they've been been the complex 4 months already (that's right, 1/3rd of the year) and the last communication regarding any issues was many months back. I feel sorry for those in the complex that cancelled their ADSL hoping to have been live 3 months back.

Wow that sounds bad, total opposite to what we experienced.
There was a fibre break about a week ago on a weekend affecting our area and others, within a few minutes of the outage our complex was made aware. after 1 hour the connection was restored. I really cant say anything bad at this stage. Touch wood it stays this way.
I can send you someones details if you want to chat to them directly. PM me if you want the number.

Thanks Dean,

I have have everyones details and mailed them all directly - but they'd all ignore me. Last week, however, someone decided to come back to me and said up to 4 weeks.

So only 5 months from the time they started ;)

Ok well I'm in - I was active from Tuesday.

Yesterday recieved an apology mail because something was wrong with the network. Right now, I'm on GSM because we've been down for 7 hours *again*. I'm about to plug in my VDSL modem.

I'm hoping this is just bad luck, as twice in a week is not a good start. So far, my 20Mbit VDSL is more reliable and not much slower on the downloads.

On another note : What did you pay? They sent a mail saying they don't charge a connection fee unlike other providers, but I got his with R1,000.

When queried, they say I will still pay for the termination point. Do other ISPs differentiate these costs?
