Device weighs 162g and has 142.5 * 72.7 * 8.9mm dimensions. Available in black, white, gold and Wood grain.
Body is plastic, doesn't feel premium. Glass fitted is a Dragontrail Glass (vs Gorilla Glass:

Boasts a 178 degree viewing angle, which isn't too shabby practically. Screen is responsive, although nothing close to high end smartphones.
5” QHD IPS screen @ 960 * 540 for a poor 220ppi for 2015 standards. Screen res is disheartening, but hey it’s not R2500. Plus device performs very poor against director-ish sunlight
Phone is equipped with 2GB RAM, which does feel the part coupled with its 1.3Ghz Quad Core processor. Fitted with Mali-400MP GPU which is a bit old (2008) but I haven’t played games and stuff, wouldn’t really know how powerful it is. But I’ve played 1080p videos, no lag with MX Player
Apps which I know are intensive, working quite smoothly, and time lapse doesn't really affect the phone's swiftness
Dual SIM, both active, can choose intuitively which to call/SMS/data with
No LTE, only 3G: Up to 21.1 Mbps downlink; Up to 5.76 Mbps uplink
WiFi been stable, no issues here (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot)
Call quality is good. Comes preloaded with the TouhcPal keyboard, which was responsive and wasn’t as accurate (no big fingers). But I got SwiftKey and typing is ok
There's a lot of bloatware and superfluous apps installed out of the box including proprietary apps. The Good thing is that it can be rooted and all these apps can be removed
Camera is 5MP, both front and back. Camera is somewhat intelligent so far tested with correct exposure and ISO, although some images weren’t a true reflection of what I saw, especially in terms of colours. Pics are around 700 – 800KB, but are supposed to be double that in theory at 100%. Some form of compression heavily working here. As a result, you won’t get the sharpest images. Saturation off the bat is a bit much (than my liking). Although both cameras are 5MP, they put all the brains and processing to the back camera

Comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. And no sign of Android 5.0+ so far from the manufacturers.
Custom ROMs are also available online. One issue thus far detected that custom ROMs address is the dual 3G/WCDMA compatibility issue, it seems only 1 sim card can be set to 3G/WCDMA only at a time.
GPS works (Maps) fine thus far as tested. Also got to download Maps Here which works fine too.
Fitted with a 2500mAh battery, thus far I’m impressed with the battery life and it charges quite quickly with my Romoss powerbank.
@ R1199, it’s a pretty good deal and nothing comes close to its price bracket! Go get!
