So, per the spec page they're doing 3G/WCDMA on 850 and 2100 MHz. Which, you know, we don't exactly use. So, when it comes to data access/speed/etcetera YMMV.

16Gb ROM, 720p 5" screen in a 2,5K phone...that is extremely keen pricing.

InnOS is a skin from what I can see...no different from HTC Sense, Samsung Touchwiz, Huawei Emotion UI etc.

Looks really nice. Only the 3G version is showing up on Takealot

Firmware from InnJoo website clearly shows Android4.4 in the description

Google Play Store shows in the InnJoo Aptoide store. Whether it's actually working is another question.

You're right...Google Play Services is in the Injoo app store so it doesn't come pre-loaded like stock Android would. Will have to see a hands-on review before deciding whether to upgrade my Huawei G630. The hardware is pretty compelling though...haven't seen that combination of RAM, ROM, screen res and battery size at that price point...may be worth checking if it can be flashed to stock KitKat.

Indeed. It may just replace my dying Galaxy S3, a stock/custom ROM may be the deciding factor.

Edit: Or maybe not. http://bestmobs.com/innjoo-one-phone/ Haha
If prices in this review is correct it means this thing sells for R1700 in Nigeria and screen replacements are R50 a pop? Hard to believe

mmmm from looking at their website I really like this phone ... but not coming with google services worries me. If you install play store from the innstore, does it enable push on this device? So many apps rely on google push for android that without it I dont see the point of the phone?

This is good news. Seems like a proper contender for the One Plus One (and soon Two) - which aren't available commercially in SA yet.

The Android updates and Google Play services will be the deciding factor for me
