What's the verdict on these phones? They seem like they have good hardware but possibly hobbled by crappy software

I brought a miezu m2 note, I've had it for a couple of days and for 2.7k its an awesome phone. Great hardware and works great. There is a thread on these forums for it.

Searched for innjoo, no results turned up.

No results on GSMarena either...Meizu seems like the better one to go for if one were to be in the market for a decent midrange phone

Bought my wife the Innjoo One for Christmas. Really like it and going to replace my S4 mini with one in the next few weeks as well. You won't be able to get anything better in its price range ( R2300 ). Keep in mind this phones is 2GB + 16GB RAM. The camera is very impressive and the screen.

If you want to get a better phone you need to pay double the price but no guarantee it will be double the quality.

LOL @ that Apple-clone website for the Apple cone phone.

Do some people fall for that? Surely not...so why do it?

Xiaomi Redmi 2 is also 2GB + 16GB RAM. Paid R1900 at Dion Wired.

cool, thanks for the feedback. couple questions :

1) How do you find build quality of device ?
2) Are you still using the default InnOss KitKat 4.4 or have you upgraded ?
3) Do you know how to upgrade to a base/vanilla version of Lollipop ?

I am not keen on using the InnOS and want to be able to install a standard build of Lollipop. Can this be done easily ?
