I noticed that everything seems to be happening significantly faster today... 4 MB file downloads within 10 seconds etc.

Just did a speed test at telkomsa.net, and it showed 272000 Kbps or 33333.3 kBytes/sec

Is that even possible? repeated speed tests fluctuate, but it's always above about 5 Mbps.

All those businesses will be back online first thing tomorrow, abusing the network, slowing it down for everyone else.

Yeah - thats your problem - as ziglet suggested - clear your cache.

cache

did that... 5674 Kbps.

It's been fluctuating somewhat... I don't think my cache would explain any of the 300 KB/s downloads I've been getting...

Wow, so 4mb can actually go over that limit.. good to see.

But a 512kb line doing over 5mb, thats weird.. well enjoy it while it lasts man, id be downloading stuff just to see those numbers..

Damn, read the other post, the telkom speed test is the most inaccurate thing ever! If you get constant speeds download a large file, then ill believe all this...
