Instagram bans adults from messaging children that don’t follow them

In a recent blog post, Instagram announced that it would implement new security features designed to protect its younger community of users.

With the intent of shielding teenagers from inappropriate adult interactions, Instagram is rolling out a new feature that prohibits adults from sending direct messages to users under the age of 18.

If the algorithm predicts the age from usage and initial age provided, what stops the adult from just making a new account every time?

There is nothing any of these social media platforms can do about this issue, except slap a user age limit on the app and then it is solely the parents responsibility.

Predators... all they will do is mimic the appropriate age, all these cunts has alts and sleeper accounts like the social bot armies.
