Installing Vumatel Fibre in an Apartment block?

Hi all, could someone please tell me if they have had Vumatel Fibre installed in their apartment block and how was this done? We have just had Vumatel Fibre installed in our area and neighbours can apply at their Internet Service Provider of choice. However our apartment has not been connected yet as we (and Vumatel) are not sure yet how best to get the Fibre(s) from the street to each floor. We have considered using the Telkom, Intercom and DSTV conduits but all seem to be not feasible or no permitted to use. The proposal from Vumatel is to lift paving and bricks and run underground conduit to the bottom of each stairwell then up the wall, drill holes through the landings, run more conduit and drill more holes through the adjacent unit walls to fit the box at each door. Then once we apply more holes are drilled at our front doors and more conduit run into each unit and along the walls. This seems so excessive and ugly, I am sure there is a better and neater way. How was it done in your apartment?

I am aware they also need to install a MDU or VDN in a basement or room.

Is the outcome from the site survey?
If yes its more than like that they sent out a subcontractor to do this.
You can ask them to do a second site survey but with a different subcontractor and see what they come up with
