Insurance Claim for Theft of Motor Vehicle

Hi all

I would just like to know from those of you who had a vehicle stolen, how long did your insurance company take to process the claim? my car was stolen on the 25th of April and i am still waitin for them to pay out....

Hi

Some or most insurance companies will have a waiting period of between 4-6 weeks before settlement, basically to allow them to recover the vehicle. If no recovery is made in that period that they will settle the claim.
Normal practice, which i don't agree with!
