Intel based laptops -local price cuts?

Does anyone know how long it takes for the local market to reduce prices on intel based laptops due to the recent Intel price cuts?
I'm in the market for a new laptop, and would like to purchase one next week, but if it's worth sticking it out for a month I'd do be willing to stretch my crippled laptop till then
I have no idea on how fast/slow prices get adjusted locally.

When I purchase from Rectron and other companies, prices are affected immediately. Just like when the R/$ exhange goes wonky and things become more expensive; prices shoot up within a week or so - ditto for official corporate pricecuts such as those from Intel / AMD
