The complaint is basically that MTN promised a certain model, were out of stock and placed the advert again while out of stock.
Complaint was upheld.
"Clause 4 of Section IV states, inter alia, ?Advertisements should not be submitted for publication unless the advertiser has reasonable grounds for believing that it can supply any demand likely to be created by the advertising.?"
I guess that the same principle could apply to MyWireless, especially when they continued advertising after they were informed that they were not delivering what they promised.
It would be interesting to see how ASA rules.
