No need to report them, the virus will help them understand.

As jy nie wil hoor nie moet jy voel...
I know .. but I don't want the rest of SA infected or get myself infected. The more ppl have it, the bigger the chance I'll get it.

Wish SANDF will come Klap them. Stupidity needs a smack.

Uh, Americans have bought all the local guns and ammo available... basically everything.... you can't even find shotguns shells... Apparently no charges for assault etc in NYC as too many cops are hospitalized and quarantined....

Maybe we would have a 3 week lockdown, open for 2-3 months then another 2-3 week lockdown (rinse and repeat) since the aim is to spread the infection over time?

There is a rather cool graphic towards the bottom of this page showing the number of cases in each country (top 10 at any point Inn time). You can pause it on any datw, to give you an idea of the numbers

Yahoo News: Coronavirus: How South Korea is successfully tackling COVID-19 without shutting down the country.

What i would like to know. Is where do you report people not abiding by the Rules and LAW. Laid out be Cyril Ramaphosa , Bheki Cele and Fikile Mbalula . My one buddy says his neighbor is having a party and has friends over etc.etc. He called the police and they apparently just drove past. The police probably figured it's a house with 5-6 people living there and has 3 cars in the yard.

How do you report someone that is "Not staying indoors, other than going to chemist or buy food" or if you "see people coming to visit your neighbors and partying"
What do you want to achieve , Parents thrown in jail , children put in foster care , probably sold off as sex slaves, never to be seen again .

The government is not your friend , every year they screw you over a bit more , just enough that you don't realize it.

This is intriguing. Huge decline in deaths from pneumonia in the USA. Presumably because those deaths are now attributed to Covid-19. Which raises a host of questions about the true extent of “excess deaths”.

Chicken and the egg..

Pneumonia is the condition.. symptom.. not the cause.

The cause could be anything from bacterial to viral (often) infection. Which viral infection depends on postmortem testing which is usually done to check for an epidemic much like was done in northern Italy in October lasted year and had it listed as “unknown” pathogen/viral agent at the time.

Polio doesn't affect the lungs, it effects the central nervous system. An iron lung was a type of ventilator that helped you breathe when your muscles were too weak.
FDR had polio but he didn't require an iron lung he was just partially paralyzed.
There is no comparison between the two viruses.

Polio affects the lung muscles, in other words the functioning of the lungs. An iron lung is a type of ventilator as I and you said, so with both you use ventilators

FDR had polio, I didnt mention anything about him recoving and being paralysed, so it both virus affected Presidents

Your post really is far away from reality, polio is the last world-wide plague that gripped so much fear in so many people, you have'nt shown otherwise, to be honest your post was just pointless, peharps even laughable

Polio affects muscles, it doesn't matter the muscle, hence some people can't walk, some can't breath and others can't move other limbs.
Also it wasn't the last big scare polio has been around for thousands of years and is recorded right through. Why it started to slip off the radar is because of the vaccines, no conspiracy theories.

Yes, you don't want Don Bheki's goons in your area. Mind your own business, and avoid contact with your neighbour.

The one the politicians want you to record. The one that creates the most political capital or brownie points or sensationalism. What has reality got to do with all of this anyway?

Yeah, my neighbour is also having his gran kids come for an afternoon visit and then they run back home.
Saw a group of teenagers playing rugby in my complex on Wednesday.

I think they sneak out when parents aren't around.

If they are all healthy, and none of the adults bring the bug in when they come home, nothing unusual is going to happen. Report back in 14 days and tell us if any of those kids got sick.
You have the makings of an albeit small experiment here in the efficacy of a lockdown. But for that to work you must keep your mouth shut.

Interesting that the Netherlands are adopting a 'hybrid' lockdown, with some restrictions, but also permitting many normal activities. It is unclear how this strategy will turn out:
Yip, life is pretty chill here in terms of how much freedom we have. Like my wife still goes to work (it's a huge hardware store type place), but then they limit the customers inside, they wear vests with keep 1.5m away printed on, the checkout counters have perspex shields, etc. Kids under 12 can play together in small groups and you can go for walks. We can buy alcohol too :p

I guess when 99.9% of people behave responsibly you can allow these freedoms. I Im concerned about the high amount of deaths per capita though, but at least the curve has started to flatten.

It would be difficult to track their health status tbh.

Polio affects motor neurons in the spinal cord, not muscles directly. This is off topic, but please stop spreading misinformation.
