Adults are at home. keep the kids at home... Entertainment can be more video games and watch TV or series. Make popcorn or chips. Basically like a Sunday but 21 Sundays in a row. <not going outside , where you stand a chance of the little one getting it from another child. Where the parent has it>

It can end up. after a soccer game. They all take it home to mommy and daddy or grandma/Grandpa. Then no one has a answer... no one knows where they got it. or who had it originally.

I'm not saying i want people locked up and never be heard of again. But people must listen UP. Take responsibility. We are not kids anymore(i hope). It's only 21days to keep yourself / family at home and safe. During a plague outbreak which is outside your door. It does not take a rocket scientist.

I cannot perceive this stupidity.. Yet people are walking around like it's Holiday times..Seemingly not afraid.

Polio affects motor neurons in the spinal cord, not muscles directly. This is off topic, but please stop spreading misinformation.
Yes a disease of the central nervous system which affects the muscles, it doesn't care which ones.

in stark contrast to the Chinese puppet "Dr" Tedros who is not allowed to say anything critical of China's complicity in this disaster...

so if you get pneumonia and then you get corvid19 then you die, what did you die of?
pneumonia or covid19?
which one do they put down on the stats ?
Death certificates are complicated.
This is the proper way to certify a death. Unfortunately doctors often don't have enough information to get it right.
death cert.png
Immediate cause of death:The final disease or injury causing the death.
Intermediate cause of death: A disease or condition that preceded and caused the immediate cause of death.
Underlying cause of death: A disease or condition present before, and leading to, the intermediate or immediate cause of death. It can be present for years before the death.

Covid-19 would be listed as the underlying cause of death only if no other condition is present. If the patient who tests positive for the virus has a terminal condition, that should be listed as the underlying cause, Covid-19 could be the intermediate cause in such a case.
It seems the death numbers currently reported include all deaths with a positive Covid-19 result irrespective if it was the cause of death or not.

Ecuador is quite scary at the moment. Their stats aren't that high, but the morgues or funeral services aren't keeping up with the dead not recorded in the Carona stats.

This is intriguing. Huge decline in deaths from pneumonia in the USA. Presumably because those deaths are now attributed to Covid-19. Which raises a host of questions about the true extent of “excess deaths”.

The sharp drop for 2019-20 in week 11, is due to the fact that all the data was not available. It was subsequently updated and now shows 3694 deaths.

No clarity WHY they have an outbreak, since the numbers and reports are incoherent. Best I can gather is that they had a lot of exchange students from a country with a high infection rate (Spain?) This combined with socio-cultural factors, and multi-generational households (elderly grandparents), could explain the rapid increases.

So the Abu Dhabi owners of the ExCel will charge the NHS £3mil a month to rent it during the crisis. In contrast, the American owners of the Nightingale to be set up in Birmingham have said it can be used for free.

With that money, they can pay the wages of 1 football player.

Thousands of people across the UK are out in the sun today in parks, at the beach, etc. Expect to see a significant spike in infections and deaths in the coming days/weeks.
